I think he may be a representation of the Hat Man, which is another legend of a man shrouded in shadows wearing a top hat (sound similar?) who can only be seen if you take copious amounts of benadryl. Of course this is just a theory.

I wonder if my lack of Portal 2 experience will hinder my enjoyment of this video. I only played Portal 1 And I didn't like it And I didn't have a friend to play Portal 2 with so I didn't care to start up Portal 2 in the first place. I can remember browsing the internet 2-3 years ago, hunting down every bit of speculation I could about the text on the statue at the courtyard of peach's castle. I wanted to know what the sign said and really meant. Most fans know the message as "L is real 2401". For years now, it seems like there was never a definitive answer as to what the sign meant. Turns out someone got the answer back in 1998 from a Nintendo game counselor. Long story short, it means absolutely nothing and wasn't a tease of anything. It was just put in place to drive fans nuts. I'd say 20 years of speculation certainly proves their goal was achieved.

Poderiam fazer um spin-off do Barney , mostarndo como ele se infiltrou na Combine e na parte que ele se encontra com o Gordon Freeman e mostrando o que aconteceu com ele depois , o Barney é um dos personagens que eu gosto e não gostaria que ele moresse e sim gostaria de ver um Half - Life 3 com todos os personagens sobreviventes do Black Mesa e se o G-Man tem todo esse poder de levar uma pessoa pro futuro e a Alyx acaba mudando o desfecho do Episódio 2 , porque ele não afz o Gordon voltar no tempo e evitar a Ressonância da Cascata e assim nunca teria acontecido aquela merda toda , mas se um dia eles resolverem fazer um Half - Life 3, gostaria muito que o Adrian Shepard aparecesse pra ajudar o Barney e o Gordon contra esses inimigos 😊

The dark Interlopers were most likely sheikah defectors who would later accept other members such as the gerudo into their tribe . But I personally believe the sheikah defectors started it first due to the fact that they knew about the sacred realm and already wielded shadow magic . I think they probably planned another side story with him but it was dropped much like episode 3 was. I think itd be a great game but i doubt well get it. Well be lucky to get Half Life 3 unless valve launchs the next big technology and need a game to attract buyers!

I know that this came out 10 years ago, but really think about it. If pikmin 4 is a split timeline between the bad ending and the good ending, or maybe it's just the 1 millionth time he's crash landed, wouldn't the really big dog at the end of the game be the goolix? Because it's not like those other forms at all. It's really furry, while the others are more metallic looking besides the smoky progg.

If the next mainline Half Life game allows Gordon to finally eat and drink something, Barney handing Gordon that beer he owes would be the perfect way to show it off.

I feel like barney went to a seperate base by white forest and saw the shuttle launch. also that wasnt a Civil Protection mask, just a grunt mask.

We need a sequel to Blue Shift where you play as Barney during and after episode 2. It could be in the Alyx universe and could be a nice prelude to Half-Life 3. It could start with the part where Barney separates from Gordon and Alyx, then he makes a stop and that's when the citadel blows up. So then the resistance has to make it there on foot. And they could get captured by the combine and a ton of shenanigans could happen. He would return to see grubs (or whatever they are) outside of the white forest base, and they go in and sees through the window where Alyx kills the grub and then G-man and her go away through a G-man portal and Eli yelling about wanting to kill him. Then Barney can come in and be like "I can help with that." Then the credits roll.

I think probable the obvious theory is G man since nobody mentions his existence after episode 1. Might not be but after he seems to vanish into fin air after episode 1 and nobody mentions him I go with that ^^
